Who are you applying for: Marie Mjolnir
Why do you want this character?: Because Marie is a nice lady with highly amusing quirks.

What's your take on this character and how do you intend to play him/her?:
Marie is a kind and tolerant person that accepts other people's differences and strives to see the good in them. She's not put off easily by things that most people would find weird or unsettling and takes people as they are. Marie is a warm and friendly person that is able to make others feel more comfortable and welcome around her. She's also very forgiving, although her capacity for forgiveness is not limitless. Nor is she naive about it. Marie believes in giving second chances, but she also believes that actions speak louder than words. A person who is sincerely remorseful should not only apologize, but also do what they can to make things right.

While kind, Marie has a temper and she is a strong person. When it's time to fight, Marie will not hesitate. There are limits to Marie's tolerance. Being callous about children's lives is a sure-fire way to enrage her. Mocking her for being single will also infuriate her, but that's shorter lived fury and quickly resolved with a punch. Fortunately, there are very few things that can provoke Marie into wanting to cause someone serious harm.

Marie is somewhat fixated on the idea of wanting to get married one day, and despairs that she's still unmarried at her current age. However, this fixation is damaging to her relationships. Nobody likes to be pressured to get married, after all. Part of Marie's fixation is due to not wanting to be lonely, and part of it is being in love with love itself. She also wants to settle down into a peaceful life and have children of her own. Marie is excellent with kids of all ages and sincerely enjoys their company.

Marie doesn't want to work hard, but she will put in her best effort when she has work to do. When she's enjoying herself doing something (such as spending time with kids), she doesn't even really regard it as work.

I intend to play Marie as she is in canon, bad sense of direction and all. Actually, I'd love to have her give some poor new arrivals the worst directions ever. XD
